Kajukenbo: "The Original Mixed Martial Art"
Kajukenbo(カジュウケンボー)は1947年にハワイで結成された混合格闘技
です。創設者は以下の武道を勉強しました。
Ka: 空手 (Karate)
Ju: 柔術 (Jiu-jutsu) and 柔道 (Judo)
Ken: 拳法 (Kenpo)
Bo: ボクシング (Western Boxing) and 中国のボクシング/カンフー(Chinese "Boxing", also known as Kung Fu).
それらの武道の頭文字をとり、名前はKajukenboとなりました。
Kajukenbo is a mixed martial art that was established in 1947. The name Kajukenbo is an acronym for the main arts of the original founders:
Ka: Karate
Ju: Jiu-jutsu and Judo
Ken: Kenpo
Bo:Western Boxing and Chinese "Boxing" (also known as "Kung Fu")
